The second oldest city in Europe, Sofia is dotted with museums and galleries. You can do the museum run starting with the likes of the Museum of Socialist Art and the National Literature Museum. Despite shooting up the holiday destination charts, Sofia is still a good deal – specially many places outside of the city which are still untouched by tourists.
